Ivystream sat in a hollow, a starry cat in front of her. "Who are you?" she meowed. The cat smiled and meowed, "Hello, Ivystream. My name is Shadowstar. Not the Shadowstar that just died, Shadowstar the first leader of Shad-er Darkclan. I have something to tell you.
Many moons ago, four where chosen.
One of shadows, one of wind, one of thunder, and one of the river.
Two went with them, and they found home.
Now the clans are divided,
and it shall happen again.
The four must come, two not invited,
and head for the sunset."
Shadowstar smiled and meowed, "You will find the others at the moonhollow at moonhigh." Then the she-cat faded and Ivystream opened her eyes to find herself in the warriors den.
