Name: Riverflame
Gender: She cat
Clan: Riverclan
Position: Warrior
Age: 34 moons
Appearance: Riverflame is a sleek spotted she-cat with yellow-green eyes. She is small in size, but slightly thinner than the average she-cat. Her fur is short and spotted. Riverflame's ears are taller than most, and slightly pointed. Her pelt is tan in color with dark brown/black spots, though her underbelly and muzzle are white. Her tail-tip is black/dark brown as well, and her paws are darker than the tan.
Personality: Riverflame is a sweet cat at heart, who loves kits and hates hurting other cats. However, if her Clan is threatened or in danger, she will fight to the death. She is a shy and timid cat, one who only goes near other Clans if it’s a life or death situation. When around kits, whether her own or another she-cat's, she acts like a mother, and will never threaten them. If another cat were to come near any kits of anyone’s, she would fight to the death, protecting them with her life.
History: Riverflame's father was a rogue, but her mother was a RiverClan cat. Her mother left the Clan, afraid to be killed for mating with a non-Clan cat. When Riverflame and her littermates were born, her father was long gone. Meanwhile, her mother nursed them all as well as possible and hunted for herself while hiding her litter among some roots in a partially uprooted tree. While she was hunting, when Riverflame was about three moons old, a fox came and tried to get the kits. Riverflame's brother and sister were killed, but she managed to hide her one other brother. By the time her mother came back, upon hearing all the wailing and mewling, combined with the vicious snarling from the fox, half of her litter were dead. Riverflame's brother that managed to survive died of a gash the fox made, unseen by any cat until it was too late. He died in front of Riverflame's eyes.
When her mother died, Riverflame wandered alone, teaching herself to hunt, and how to defend herself. Her mother had told her stories of her Clanlife, and she finally found RiverClan. Hiding the fact of who her mother was and what happened to the rest of her family, she finally became a Clan cat, protecting everyone with her life.
IC: (( I only RP in third person... I dunno what my RPs would be like if I wrote in first person. So I'll just put a couple third persons. ^^;; ))
One of my first ever Warriors RPs:
Riverflame stretched and padded out of the warrior's den. She glanced up, and noticed it was hardly dawn. Great.
'Should I go back to sleep?' she thought. 'No, I'll never fall asleep; I'm already awake now.'
She wasn't hungry, so she looked around the camp and noticed Wolfspirit. It seemed like he was looking for something.
She padded over curiously, and decided she might be able to help him.
"What're you doing?" she asked, glancing back up at the sky. "Do you know who's on dawn patrol today?"
Riverflame yawned, her tiredness showing. She'd better not be on patrol. If they were attacked, she would have to merely lay on them and fall asleep until they surrendered.
A more recent sample:
Riverflame shrugged.
"I guess so," she meowed. "I'm better at catching mice and the like though."
The she-cat watched the water for a moment, and her paw darted down. Again, her claws came unsheathed as they hooked around the body of a fish, but unlike the first time, as she brought it up, it flopped to the ground early.
The silver body flailed on the ground, and Riverflame hissed in frustration as she placed a paw over it. It thrashed for a moment, then the she-cat lifted her paw.
At the same time, it's tail smacked the ground, launching it skyward towards the water again.
"Foxdung!" she spat, jumping up to grab it. It slipped into it's home again, sending the she-cat in with it.
She paused underwater, watching as the tiny fish swam away.
Of course, she thought. swim away little fishy. I'll see you again, and next time you'll be my meal.
Riverflame resurfaced, her legs paddling her towards the bank again. Her spotted pelt was drenched, but the water rolled right off. However, several droplets stayed. Though she was a RiverClan cat, and ate fish, leaving her fur glossy and water-proof, she tended to catch her own meals when she was out hunting. She returned to camp with plenty of prey for her Clan, as well as a mouse or vole for herself. Therefore, she ate less fish than the other cats, leaving her fur prone to staying wet for longer periods of time.
She climbed back onto the ground and shook herself, trying to keep most of the water away from Lightstar. She knew that no cat liked to be sprayed with water, let alone a leader.
