[crystalclear]

Crystalclear charged for the eyes of the enemy. She clawed them until they started to bleed, hoping the badger could at least become blind. The badger yowled from Crystalclear's scratching. The badger's claws lunged towards Crystalclear and she flew off. After she regained her balanced she lunged back towards the badger. Her fury even more noticable.

[Icetalon]

She stood on her hind legs and tried to slam her paws down on the badger's back, but it flung her into a tree. She yowled in pain, but got back up and tackled it. She screached. She felt alive, and she was angry at her enemy. Icetalon glanced at Crystalclear for a heartbeat to make sure she hadn't been injured.

[crystalclear]

"Do think we kill it?" Crystalclear yowled at Icetalon. She already knew, no but it was an effort. And even if they couldn't kill it she knew that it was blind.
Just then Crystalclear could hear rustle coming from behind. She took a quick glance to see who it was, thankfully it was Waterfall.
Waterfall stood wide eyed. She couldn't believe her eyes. Waterfall ran over to them and grabbed hold of the badger's neck and shoulders. She pressed down hard on the badger's neck until it dropped under them, dead. "What were you thinking fighting against a badger?" Waterfall questioned.
Crystalclear stared at Waterfall her eyes wide. "How'd you do that? We've been fighting him and you just kill it?"
"I had a vision that I was once fighting a badger and I killed it just like that. They have a pressure point right by the shoulder blade and neck. If you press it hard enough the vein rips open and chokes them with blood because they can't get air." Waterfall meowed like she did nothing heroic.
"Oh ok." Crystalclear was still shocked and stared at the dead badger. "I'm guessing you were looking for me?"
"Yeah, I'm going to be the medicine cat for Riverclan. We're going to the moonhollow tonight and I was wondering if you would go with me?"
"Duh! Congrats! This'll be soo cool. I'm so happy for you," Crystalclear rubbed Waterfall in congratulations.
"We should heading back to camp now. We should take the badger with us too." Waterfall meowed grabbing the badger by the scruff.
"Good idea but Icetalon and I left some prey back a while ago." Crystalclear meowed. The first thing on her mind was going back to camp with the badger and telling Mistystar, the next was her wounds. Her shoulder was already starting to ache.

[Icetalon]

Icetalon starred at Waterfall for a moment, then blinked and shook her head, "That was amazing. I'll have to try that next time I'm in a fight with a badger." She felt disapointed that she hadn't gotten to fight longer, and she was slightly trembling from her adrenaline rush. Her ribs were in pain from slamming into the tree, but she didn't care. She unburried the rabbit and got her mouse and Crystalclear's peice of prey.

Crystalclear grabbed the half the other pieces and Waterfall got the rest. "I don't know how I knew I could kill badger like that I just did." Waterfall meowed. She really didn't know how she killed the thing.

[Icetalon]

Icetalon headed back to camp.

She sniffed the air every now and then to make sure there weren't any more badgers near by, but didn't stop for more than a heartbeat. She felt like it was urgent that they got back to camp as soon as possible.

Crystalclear and Waterfall were trailing behind Icetalon. They were taking their time sensing that this might be their last hunt together before Waterfall became a medicine cat.
