New Scent! (Anyone can join!)

[Foxtail]

As Foxtail padded up to boulder feilds she realsed that there are other cats here. Not paying any attention to them she tried to find this hidden scent. Looking back to see if Hawkshadow was there. She padded on and started sniffing around the boulders. Finally she caught the scent. "Yes." She wispered.

Firepelt lifted his head up from his stalk at the sound of a whisper. Where'd that come from? he wondered, scanning the nearby rocks. He spotted a small bit of ginger fur, not too different from his own. "Yes what?" he asked, walking away from his shrew to go stand by Foxtail. He was always excited to befriend all cats that looked like him. Not out of narcissism, but just fascination that someone could look like him and yet not be related.

Turning around to see Firepelt by her she jumped. "Gosh you scared me." she hissed. Shaking her head. "Do you smell that strange scent?" she asked him. Trying to lay her fur down she picked up the scent again. Being careful around the boulders because something could pop out at any mintute. She turned back to Firepelt.

Firepelt shrugged, then decided he should probably spell the air first before answering. "What scent?" he asked, taking a deep breath. He didn't pick up anything out of place. However, he did catch a slight wiff of Fawnmist, old, but still pretty strong. "Where's he off to now?" he muttered, more to himself than to Foxtail.

The scent really didn't matter anymore really it couldn't do any harm right? Maybe it could maybe not why would it matter to her. Something caught her eye but she couldn't make it out right away. She turned her head towrads it, crouching down she stalked up to this sparrow. Perched on top of the rock, pouncing she just nicked the sparrow with her claw. Stumbling on the landing she killed the sparrow with a quick bit. "What did you say?" she turned to Firepelt.

Firepelt looked down at the she-cat's catch approvingly. "Nice catch." he commented. He looked back up to her eyes when she asked him the question. He hesitated, not sure if he should tell her or not. There was no need to scare everyone if it was nothing, but he could be in trouble. He opened his mouth to answer, then closed it again, still deliberating. "Erm..nothing. It's not important." he said, decided not to tell her.

"O thanks." Looking at her catch she sighed. There was something going on that caught her, but didn't say anything. Trying to think of what to say next, but going off in a little world. With grass feilds and other things. Shaking her head she went back to the present. "O Really." Yawning she found her self a flat rock to lay down on and started grooming her fur.

Firepelt resisted rolling his eyes. His little sister did the same thing; tune out the world, then stop and groom herself. The only difference is that his sister did it 24/7. Everytime he'd glance over at her, she'd either have her muzzle shoved in her fur getting some invisible piece of dirt off her fur or sitting there with a glazed look on her face. "Yeah. Really." he replied curtly.

"Ok you seem like something is wrong. Tell me. Please. Something is really bothering you." She stood up a shook her fur. Something is up with him but she didn't know what but she was going to find out. Even if it takes her forever.
