Can you meet me halfway
Bright green eyes scanned the road. The she-cat's ears twitched with anticipation and eagerness. Rustwing came out to the border allot, just to watch the two-legs pass by and give her looks. They never came often but there would be a stray two-leg every once in a while. For some strange reason, she was waiting for someone. She had no idea who but she just felt that someone would be coming, and she had to wait to greet them, or stop them, or do something. Rust sat on her back haunches and wrapped her tail around her legs.Right at the border line
A small mouse scurried up to her, unusual for a mouse. It stared up at Rustwing, tilting it's head to the side. "Why hi there Mr. Mousy!" Rust greeted, a wide grin spread across her lips. "What are you doing around the border? Are you waiting for someone too?" She asked. If a cat was watching her now, they must have thought she was mental, but Rust was just weird like that. A few squeaks escaped the mouse's mouth and sniffed the air around Rust. "Mr. Mousy, have you ever been eaten by an owl before?" She asked. "I don't know how that related to anything..." She said, thinking about what she had asked.
Thats where i'm gonna wait, for you
Before Rust could speak again, the mouse scurried off into the tall grass across the road. "Well, okay then! Bye!" Rustwing called, stretching her neck to see if she could still see the mouse. "That was very rude of him" She whispered.
