Blueflame sighed happily and giving her swollen a lick. She closed her eyes and leaned back as she embraced the new day. She closed her eyes happily and curled her tail up beside her. She was only just beginning to show signs of pregnancy and she decided to head out for the morning. But after she got some well needed rest seeing as it was raining outside.

"Hey Bluefire," Meadowbrook yawned as she came to the edge of the den. Her and her kits just woke up from their nap so they were extra hyper now. "Are you okay? You just seem to be a little down or nervous or something, but I don't know that's just me."
A little bundle of fur came tripping over to his mother's side. It was Soulkit. "Hel-lo Bl-luefire," Soulkit meowed politely and turned to his mother. "Mom-ma c-can we go out-s-side?" Soulkit managed to ask. Recently his stuttering was getting worse and worse. Soon though Meadowbrook would have the medicine cat check him out.m
"I'm sorry Soulkit but it's raining outside and I really don't feel like drying you guys off. You know it takes too long plus you'll get yourselves all muddy," Meadowbrook gave a faint smile to Soulkit as she saw his eyes get dim.
"Oh, when is Dad-dy going t-to come and vis-it us ag-gain?"
"I don't know honey, I don't know." Meadowbrook looked out into the rain. She hadn't heard from her mate in a while and she was beginning to worry. "I'll tell you what you guys can go play outside but only for a little bit and stay very near to the den."
Soulkit's expression lit up. His eyes were brightened again and a big smile appeared across his face. "Thanks mama!" He rubbed against his mother and trampled away to go tell his siblings.

Blizzardkit ran over to Meadowbrook and Blueflame and meowed, "hi!"

"Hello Blizzardkit, where's your mother?" Meadowbrook mewed kindly. She was curious what Blizzardkit was doing without his mother or father nearby.

Blizzardkit flicked his tail and meowed, "Ashtail is a'sleen'in so I came out to play!" He did not really care if his mother liked it or not, he just wanted to have fun.

Meadowbrook gave a smile. "Alright you can play outside but if I get blamed for it you will not be a happy kit. My kits are out there already playing if you want to play with them."

Meadowbrook smiled at the kit. "Oh kits please come here. There is someone who wants to meet you." Within a minute or two all three kits came trotting by, their fur already matted and muddy.
"Hi!" Soulkit exclaimed as he saw the other kit.
