Ashfeather is taking a walk

Ashfeather padded along near the border. She was restless and wanted to take a walk, and she decided that she might as well patrol the border at the same time and be useful. She sniffed the air and was happy that there was no scent of intruders, but she did smell badger. It didn't smell like it was in DarkClan territory, but it worried her. Ashfeather crouched near RiverClan's border and sniffed again. Good, she thought to herself, It's in RiverClan territory, not DarkClan. She hoped it wasn't hurting anyone though.

Ashfeather pricked her ears as she heard howling coming from FernClan territory. "Wolves!" she growled. Then she heard a battle cry of a cat that sounded all too familiar. She didn't care that it was another Clan's territory, she rushed in the direction of the howling.
