Ashfeather padded slowly into the meadow and sat in the shadows of a tree. She looked up at the sky, fearfully, then shook her head. She didn't care what StarClan thought. But the fear that Wolfblaze wasn't going to come, caused her to feel uneasy. She realized that she should just go back to her warm den and catch up on her sleep. She stood, ready to go back to DarkClan, but something made her wait a little longer
Wolfblaze came up behind the grey she-cat slowly. He still wasn't sure that he wanted to do this, and he took his time. He also didn't want to frighten her, so he finally mewed, "Ashfeather?"
