Sunshine {Open}

[Minnowleaf]

Minnowleaf turned around to look over her shoulder and grinned a toothy smile. She had unnaturally long "vampire" teeth, a result of being shunned from the prey pile for so many moons and barely ever eating anything. What no one knew was that the first few moons of her life were terrible. Everyone hated her for no reason. What SHE didn't know was that it was because her mother was an alleged traitor to Fernclan. No one ever bothered to tell her though, so she lived in isolation from the rest of her clanmates.

She fixed her gaze on Junepaw's eyes, intruiged by their mismatched coloring. Even though she had seen her around camp, she had never really payed attention to the apprentice's eye color. "Hiya Junepaw." she said cheerfully. Ever since her "shunning" she had leapt at every oportunity to make friends and was happy when her clanmates even talked to her.

[Foxtail]

Seeing that Minnowleaf was looking at her strange, but she didn't mind. "Hi How is your day so far Minnowleaf?" Not knowing anything really about this warrior. But she did see her around camp. She padded to Minnowleaf. She knew that Minnowleaf had no friends in the clan so maybe I could be her friend she thought. She did not have friends herself.

Minnowleaf smiled again. "Good. It's sunny. I love the warmth." she purred, swishing her tail in joy. She loved anything warm and dry, and even liked warm wet things. She followed Junepaw with her eyes as the smaller she-cat got closer. She was a silver tabby, much like herself, with the same shape markings on her side. She could almost be mistakened for her sister. The only thing that would have given it away was Minnowleaf's amber-orange eyes and dark stripes on her face, legs and tail. And her white underbelly as well. She didn't know many cats in any of the clans who had a completely white underbelly.

"Really I would of never gussed." laughing to her self, noticing that Minnowleaf looked kinda like herself but her withe under belly and her eye color. Thinking about that her sister Bluekit came to her mind. She missed her sister very much. Wishing that she was an apprentice with her she sighed. Shaking her head she layed down in the sun. Thinking about her sister and trying to think of what to say next to Minnowleaf.

Minnowleaf's face twitched down a little. She was really good at sensing emotions on people, a gift she'd gotten from her mother. She moved closer to Junepaw and lay down next to her, her fur brushing the smaller she-cat's fur every so slightly. She pushed her muzzle against Junepaw's for a second and then pulled away. "What's wrong?" she asked, eyes wide in concern.

[Foxtail]

"Well I was just thinking aboutmy sister. Bluekit. She died a while back and I miss her right now." She looked up at the clouds. "Do you have a sister or bother? I was just wondering."
Sighing she layed her head on her paws.

Minnowleaf looked down sadly at her paws. Death always depressed her. "No. Although I've heard that I almost had a brother. I'm not sure how ALMOST though." She shrugged. Many people thought she had siblings, just because of her mother's scandalous history.

[Foxtail]

"Oh." What can I do now? Junepaw picks herself up and shakes off. "Well Minnowleaf, Im going back to camp see you there later?" Blinking she looked a Minnowleaf with her good eye. Then pads off towards camp.

Minnowleaf mewed, "Ok.". Her voice held a small bit of sadness that was mirrored in her eyes as she watched the small she-cat walk away. I'm all alone again. she thought sadly and lay down. She stretched out and closed her eyes, concentrating on the warmth she felt on her fur.
