Sunshine {Open}

[Minnowleaf]

Minnowleaf layed back against the trunk of the huge weeping willow. She tilted her head up, watching the sun shine through the leaves through half slitted eyes. Man, I love greenleaf. she thought, her tail tip twitching as she half dozed.

((i'm new to FernClan...does that mean I just post in any new thread?))

Dawnwhisker inhaled deeply, smelling the fresh scent of new life. She was thankful, in a way, that she didn't have her normal Warrior duties for the day, and could just relax by herself. She approached the ancient willow, and saw to her surprise another cat was already there.

[Minnowleaf]

Minnowleaf's tail switched as she dozed. The scent of another cat reached her nostrils and she looked up through half-closed eyes. "Oh, hey Dawnwhisker." she said, yawning.

Wildfire bounded with an aura of pride because of all the prey he had caught earlier left him happy. He thought he might catch more since it was a particularly good day for hunting until he scented his fellow clanmates. The willow was which he was padding to so he could hunt is occupied by two others. This dampered his prideful mood. He wasn't much of a talker either but felt he must recognize them so he wouldn't seem like he was avoiding them. Brushing his fur on a few bushes he saw exactly which two cats it was. "Greetings Dawnwhisker and Minnowleaf," he said to them formally.

[Dawnwhisker]

'Oh joy,' Dawnwhisker thought to herself, not wanting to really force conversation. Still, she smiled at Wildfire and casually flicked her tail back and forth. "You sure are more formal than I remembered you, Wildfire." she said, her green eyes glistening at him.

[Minnowleaf]

Minnowleaf grinned and rolled over, giving Wildfire a teasing look. "Well hello Wildfire." she said, laughing. "Trying to sound important and to-be-worshiped?" she said, joking. She yawned and stretched out, digging her claws into the willow tree's bark.

[Dawnwhisker]

Dawnwhisker glanced down at Minnowleaf, then back at Wildfire. "I guess I'll leave," she began, not wanting to get in the way. With a barely noticeable sigh, the golden she-cat stood and padded away towards the forest.

[Minnowleaf]

Minnowleaf flipped over quickly. "Hey wait! No, don't go!" she said, running after her.

"No reason just being polite, he told Dawnwhisker with a slight growl and then looked over at the foolish Minnowleaf who was frolicing in the grass like a kit making remarks. "I was actually hunting," Wildfire snapped at her, "unlike some lazy cats I spy." He pointed that comment to both of them relaxing around the hollow. Then Dawnwhisker with a few words left and padded off with the other following or encouraging to come back. He just snorted and sniffed around for prey. Lazy she-cats...

[Minnowleaf]

Minnowleaf gave Wildfire a glare over her shoulder. "Yeah. It's called not relaxing. You should try it some time. I heard it makes you more tolerable." she said sharply and turned back around, nose up in the air.

[**MidnightBloo**]

"Snotty too," he mumbled at the brat of a cat walking with her nose in the air. Wildfire brushed off her comment and went back to his hunting, hopefully in peace with someone more tolerable and serenity than Minnowleaf.

[Dawnwhisker]

Dawnwhisker picked up her pace, trotting into the woods and disappearing into the trees. She breathed in and out slowly, trying to calm herself down.

Skypool sniffed the air, smelling two fresh scents of FernClan cats and one slightly stale one as she approached the old willow tree. She spotted two familiar faces - Wildfire and Minnowleaf - near the tree and padded over to them.

[Minnowleaf]

(Wait, wasn't Dawnwhisker just there?)

[Dawnwhisker]

( Yeah, but she got annoyed and left )

Skypool could practically smell tension in the air, but shrugged it off, half-smiling to herself. She had a pretty good idea who was at the willow tree already.

Wildfire looked at the limbs of the tree trying to see if a bird was there if not he'd look around the roots. But he was in the mood for climbing. Here birdy, birdy! Come here birdy! I have a surprise for you!

[Dawnwhisker]

Skypool sniffed the air again and nodded - she was right. Wildfire. She spotted him observing some tree roots and decided it would be better not to ask. Instead, she trotted out of the forest to where Minnowleaf was sitting.

Minnowleaf bent down to lick her paw. She noticed a tiny thorn and started licking it, trying to get it off before it got stuck in her skin. She looked up when she heard Skypool come up. "Hey Skypool!" she said cheerfully.

[Dawnwhisker]

The black deputy smiled back at the cheerful she-cat. "Hello, Minnowleaf!" she replied, padding up to her and sitting down under the cool shade.

Minnowleaf stretched forward, resting her hot paw pads on a leaf that had just fallen. It was nice and cool and she loved the sensation it gave her burning paws.

[Foxtail]

Junepaw was sniffing around in the sun when she spoted Minnowleaf a clouple of fox lenghts away. She padded over there queitly, "Hello." She meowed to Minnowleaf.
